It's All Greek To Me!

Hey Girls!  Due to the assignments in your homework this week, I just wanted to remind you by way of encouragement to make good use of the Bible Study Helps Link that I've placed on the right hand side bar.  Just scroll down and you will see it.

Once you have clicked and linked you will see on the new page, on the left hand side, an entire list of Study Helps that will enable you to do your Greek Word Studies and transliterations and also to find definitions of words!

Have a wonderful time in the Word of God this week!

with love,

Come on, pull up a chair and join us in the Comment Cafe!

My apologies Margaret... right hand side bar, click on the picture of the girl reading on the porch swing under the title BIBLE STUDY HELPS.

Your click will take you to Study Light where on the LEFT HAND SIDE you will find the heading Study Resources... there you will find Concordances, Dictionaries, Lexicons, Encyclopedias and other helps!

Cathie - I finally figured out how to get your podcasts onto my iPad so that I can listen to them while I commute. My learning on the way home tonight was refreshing and so encouraging. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you and your heart for Christ. Love you sister!

Wow this week's study has been so profound! It is kind of review for me, but it's cool how God shows us things we already knew in a new way, from a new angle like you were talking about on Thursday. Colossians 1:15 combined with Romans 8:29 was so moving for me. Those are verses I knew before, but I never put them together and realized the full implication. So powerful!

Love, LOVE to hear this from you girls! Nothing like my sisters sharing their own excitement in their discovery of God and His Word!
Thank you so much for the encouraging words!

Kate, you made me giggle to think that you have now learned how to take our class on the road (or on the rails!) FABULOUS! I'm delighted!!!

Cat, I could feel my heart swell with emotion knowing that you have, once again, experienced the joy of the beauty and bounty of God's Word. I also like the fact that my laying flat on my back on the floor during class was a visual not wasted! :)

Hangeth thou in there for last weeks Podcast Kate... it's taking a little longer than the others, but it WILL be available just as soon as I can get it re-formatted.

Love and appreciate you both... so much!

If you have an iphone or ipad, you must try the Blue Letter Bible app. It's fabulous! I found out about it by going to Cathie's recommended website for study help - www.blueletterbible.org. It's a free app and it gives you access to dictionaries, concordances, different versions of the bible for comparison, passage lookup, reference library.....it's amazing!I was able to do the tranliterative components of our homework all on my ipad. So magnificently useful!!! Today, as I sat under the dryer at the hair salon, I was able to easily work on my homework, just by having my ipad with me. Thank you Jesus!
