Prayer Room

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:6-7)

1.  Debbie F. has requested prayer for her family.
- That God would bless them with courage, strength and grace.  Particularly for her two young boys Declan and Colm. Also prayer for her mother that she would receive the LORD.

- My divorce.  I have received so many blessings, cleaning and cooking angels, phone calls, texts and prayers, yet I have feelings of unworthiness, all of my insecurities are coming out.  -

- My youngest son Colm (8) is really struggling.  Doesn't want to go to school or to his dad's

- my oldest Declan (10) is being so strong, and my life is a roller coaster and I want to get off or at least for it to stop twisting and turning.

2.  Kate has requested prayer for herself and her son.
My son and I are struggling. He's 15 years old and we are having heated conflict around school issues. I'm exhausted from it and, quite honestly, I don't know the right way to manage it anymore. I need God's wisdom, patience and chutzpah to push through this one!

3.  Cat has requested prayer for her brother-in-law (a Christian) and his wife.
I have a prayer request for my brother-in-law, Craig (I have his permission).  His wife Trena just informed him by email that she is certain their relationship has run its course and that she will be filing for divorce.  They've had their challenges but have always been committed to making it work in the past, but now she has decided she is through.  It's a complicated situation and needs all the prayer it can get!  Thank you.

- Frank and I would like for Isaac to have a sibling and it's only possible with God's intervention.

- My dog Macs was just diagnosed with Addison's Disease, please pray that we would get his medication right and he would be healthy.  He can't handle stress now, and he's got a hot spot (painful, raw patch of skin caused by stress) so pray that would heal well.

4.  Jan has requested prayer for her daughter, Arlie.
Arlie, has semi-urgent eye surgery coming up.  According to her specialist she will be awake for the surgery which will be 1-3 hours.  My daughter is very anxious and I am so concerned about her ability to cope with this.

5.  Wendy S. has requested prayer...
 - for my husband (Matt) for his salvation.  For strength to endure the enemies attacks through Matt and for his protection from the enemy.  Thank you.

6.  Sally has requested prayer...
My husband and I are going away for 2 week and my prayer is that we grow as a couple in our love for each other and unity in the LORD.

7. Glory has requested prayer...
...to understand and apply God's hidden treasures in God's Word.  To not be lazy with God's Word, but to persevere and dig deeper.  To encourage and leave a lasting impact in the lives of others for God's Kingdom.  To enjoy school more.

8.  Sue has requested prayer...
- My son will find a church to attend in Abbotsford and find a group of believers to fellowship with.

-  My son-in-law will be accepted into a traineeship with "YouthWorks".

- My daughter would be able to finish her university courses on-line starting in January.

9.  Carol has requested prayer...
- My niece Jill, her best friend died October 24 - she and her friends are devastated.

- My son Craig, for returning to Jesus and for godly men to influence his life.

10.  Marlene has requested prayer...
My granddaughter Sarah, recently moved back to Victoria from US where she lived for 10 years.  Needs work, but most of all - needs Jesus!  She knows the gospel but not walking with Him.  Thank you for your prayers.

11.  Val has requested prayer...
My friend Denise who has severe osteoporosis and has a broken back, depression.

12.  Debbie S. has requested prayer...
Pray for Edna H. and her daughter Lana who is recovering from gall bladder surgery.  Pray for quick healing and a closeness between Edna and Lana.

13.  Jeanne has requested prayer...
- Please pray for Kathy who is in a difficult time in her life (darkness)

- My sister-in-law Dianne who is undergoing radiation and chemo-therapy and then a stem cell transplant for multiple myloma.  Thank you!

14.  Michelle has requested prayer...
- for my dad Russ and brother Jim to come to know and love Jesus, to begin their walk with God and to receive Jesus into their hearts as their personal Saviour.

- For Kathy and Dave and Stacey and Colin for God to heal their marriages, to work in their hearts to obey Him.

- For my daughter Paige, to work in her heart so she can hear God, listen to Him and obey Him, to help her love others and bless her friendships and to be a good friend to others.

15.  Wendy L. has requested prayer...
- my husband Le had 5th chemo treatment and at next one (11th &13th) will be told whether he gets 2 more or not.  The next step, they want to do stem cell transplant just after Christmas.  The doctors say none of this is a cure for mantle cell lymphoma but that treatments will buy time.  I really don't like the idea of these chemo treatments but... I do feel God is in total control and want to be in agreement with His will so am confused on which way to pray - for healing of course.

- Also, prayer for my 29 year old son Mike to come back to His leading.

16.  Pray for Margaret...
- my leg is healing and I am now doing physio exercises to try and strengthen the muscles around the knee.   Sometimes hard to do as they can be painful.  I see the surgeon on Nov. 15 and he will decide if I am ready for the knee replacement on the date I have been given, December 12th

17.  Pray for Kathy...
- On top of some serious health concerns I have, my husband and I have been separated for about 7 weeks.  It has been very difficult.  We both want to rebuild our marriage so with the Lords help we will come through this stronger and wiser (I really hope so anyway).

18.  Pray for Justin...
Can you add to the prayer list Justin Dekker.  He is going for an 8-10 hour surgery on Thursday 6th Dec.
Thankyou,
Love,
Margaret

Cat - my first thought... Craig is IN CHRIST! He can be in no better place, in no better position! What a wonderful way to begin to pray for this young an, as we enter His gates with thanksgiving and enter His courts with praise over this reality!

However God deems fit to Move in this situation, Craig can rest assured that it WILL result in his ultimate good and Christ likeness as he continues to yield to Christ in all things.

May Trena hear and turn towards Jesus as Craig continues to be a light to his wife as he walks this out daily in His Strength, Wisdom and Love.
So blessed by your heart in all this Cat!

love,
Cathie

I just lift all of you up to the Lord. I know from my own life that God loves us, and I think this special group of ladies, sharing, and praying together,, shows that he is here.
Blessings,
